Hi everyone, I'm Johannes, 27 years old and I'm from Hessen (Germany).
I started weightlifting in the gym back in 2013 and have been training regularly ever since. I've acquired a lot of knowledge over time and decided to do another sport besides weightlifting in 2019. I tried different sports and got stuck with volleyball. Since then I've been training regularly on volleyball.
Thanks to a volleyball course at school and my parents, who played volleyball themselves, I was able to gain a foothold and become a pretty good player. But then I stuck at my level. This is probably where a lot of people get stuck. I quickly realized that my skills weren't good enough for me and I wanted more. So I changed clubs and started to learn and improve certain things on my own. It worked pretty well and I got a lot of compliments. But I'm still far away from the level I want to achieve. I'm confident that I can improve significantly and reach a very high level of play if only I could be shown how. I am ambitious, disciplined and willing to work hard for it.
How do I want to distinguish myself playfully? I would like to use my weightlifting and gained muscles to my advantage and become a very, very strong and hard hitting opposite or outside spiker. I want to improve my jump rotation serve, master different attack variations and be able to consistently perform very well.
To myself:
- Hight: 193 cm
- Position: O (opposite hitter)
- Weight: ~ 96kg
- League: Landesliga (Germany)
- Successes: Bezirksliga Meister 2022/2023
- Spike: I think round about 2,85m
