BRAND NEW Classroom Section! 🥳
📢 ALSO! 📢 I have partnered with a priest who specializes in marriage and family. We are having him create a course for the Based & Built community. What would you like the course to be about? Let me know!!

TJ - great point. Let me answer this very common objection: that personal experience is always the most valuable experience. 1)Priests are still men: some of us have dated, and discerned priesthood after dating. That means their dating experience was fruitful - because it actually revealed their vocation. 2) We live in a day what most people experience only once in a lifetime. That means we priests have a wealth of experience through the lives of people we are called to serve. One year in priesthood has offered me more valuable real-world experience that couldn’t have happened even if I tried to do all of it myself. 3) First principles are practical. We cannot live in the abstract - but the abstract does offer rules for engagement (rules for living). Apply the principles in practical terms and your life will be well-balanced, meaningful, and full of purpose. In short: yeah… I have a few things to offer, even if personal experience is limited. :)

@Taylor Ross it’s all good! It’s a common objection that we hear, especially with marriage/family/relationships.

Hi everyone! Tena kotou katoa! I am a Roman Catholic Priest of the diocese of Auckland in Aotearoa New Zealand. I finished my theological studies and seminary training in the Philippines but I was ordained and incardinated here in Auckland, New Zealand on December 2021. It’s great to know that there is a community of catholic men that is serious on getting fit and being the best version of themselves. I have started my fitness journey 4 years ago. Overcame my fear of being intimidated in the gym and motivated myself to focus on my self-improvement both physically, mentally, and spiritually. Nice to be here!

Hello fellas! I'm Gus Weerawong. I'm 18yrs old Thai guy, and currently waiting for college to start in September. I'm not a Catholic yet, but I'm Catechumen, currently in RCIA at a local Catholic church. I'm looking forward for a community where I can learn habits to level myself up, as well as helping me with faith and theology, in order to be closer to God.
