Confessions of a Salesperson Who Hates the Phone
Let me just say it—I struggle with sales sometimes. Calling people on the phone? Not my thing. I don’t know what it is, but picking up the phone feels like I’m prepping for a heavyweight fight. Now, if we’re meeting in person? Totally different story. I’d much rather sit down, have a drink, and actually enjoy someone’s company (not that I’m out here hanging with a ton of people, mind you—my social circle is more of a triangle). But there’s something about face-to-face interaction that just feels natural. So, if you ever see me avoid a phone call or awkwardly rehearse a voicemail, just know—it’s not you, it’s me. Sales pros, teach me your ways! Are you team phone call or team let’s-grab-a-drink? Let’s hear it! 🍻📞

Why LinkedIn is a Game-Changer for Your Business
If you’re not actively leveraging LinkedIn for your business, you’re missing out on one of the most powerful tools for professional growth and networking. Here are a few reasons why LinkedIn should be part of your strategy: 1. Targeted Networking Opportunities LinkedIn connects you directly with professionals who align with your industry, interests, and goals. Whether you're looking for potential clients, partners, or collaborators, the platform allows you to narrow down your search by location, industry, job title, and more. 2. Build Thought Leadership By sharing your expertise through posts, articles, and engaging in discussions, you position yourself and your business as leaders in your field. The more you contribute, the more visibility you gain with your target audience. 3. Recruit Top Talent LinkedIn’s job posting and recruiting tools help you attract top-tier candidates who are already active in your industry. For small and large businesses alike, this can streamline hiring and save time. 4. Access to Decision Makers Unlike other social platforms, LinkedIn is packed with professionals, including key decision-makers. This means your posts and outreach efforts have a higher chance of reaching those who can say “yes” to your ideas. 5. Lead Generation Made Easy LinkedIn is one of the most effective platforms for B2B lead generation. By using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or simply connecting and building relationships, you can turn conversations into opportunities. 6. Expand Your Brand Visibility Consistent activity on LinkedIn boosts your brand recognition. Posting valuable content, engaging with your audience, and participating in groups enhances your visibility and builds trust. 7. Stay Updated on Industry Trends From following industry leaders to participating in group discussions, LinkedIn helps you stay ahead of the curve. This insight allows you to make informed decisions and innovate within your business. 8. Showcase Your Business LinkedIn Company Pages are a powerful way to highlight what makes your business unique. Share updates, celebrate milestones, and give potential clients and employees an inside look at your company culture.

Why LinkedIn is a Game-Changer for Your Business
There’s No Such Thing as Balance or Success
We often hear about striving for “balance” or “success,” but here’s the truth: neither of these things actually exist. They’re not universal truths—they’re internal constructs that are completely subjective, shaped by our own perspectives and priorities. Balance is fluid. What feels balanced today might feel overwhelming tomorrow, depending on where your focus lies. It’s not about perfectly dividing your time between work, family, health, and leisure—it’s about aligning your time with what matters most to you in the moment. Success is just as subjective. For some, it’s financial freedom. For others, it’s happiness, creativity, or simply being present with loved ones. There’s no finish line, no universal metric to define it. Success is deeply personal and constantly evolving. So, stop chasing the “perfect” balance or some abstract definition of success. Instead, ask yourself: What feels right for me right now? What aligns with my values and goals? Focus on that, and let go of the pressure to live up to someone else’s idea of what balance or success should look like. It’s your life—make it your own.

FACTS!
This is so true. The first phase is just about learning. Do you want to market a crap product? Spend money for people to see that you don't know what you are doing? Of course not! You learn, you make mistakes, you get better. Then you build something people find value in and from there you grow something amazing. But it only comes after going through the hell that is entrepreneurship. https://youtube.com/shorts/mhJjRJdhK-I?si=3g69t2Cv8Va84TqD
