@Rory Duncan everyone is gonna have their opinions lol. For me, I just don't see 1 aspect being the main factor to a hit song and it's different every time. In some cases, I'm sure there are engineers that are basically doing everything, from autotune and arrangements in the mix to make something sound industry ready so the mix is super important but not the only factor that makes hit songs because there are hit songs out there that are mixed poorly.
