Maybe some of you saw Publer’s emails in the past week.
If not, you can read their "funny" email below. The important question here is: what do you think about clickbaits or misleading subject lines in B2B marketing? Is all publicity (good or bad) beneficial? 🤔 Write your opinion in the comments and let’s debate this together!

Publer is really cool. They have a super useful and strong product. On top of this they assumed this funnier and laid back communication territory. And it looks like it’s working really well for them. They don’t take themselves to seriously, while doing the things serious enough.

@Diana Slabu it depends on the business, target, and product. For some it fits, for other it does not. Especially since it’s a very fine line between clickbait and complete spam.
LinkedIn social selling
You're scrolling on LinkedIn, and up pops yet another pitch for a product or service you've never even heard of. Yawn, right? But that's the reality of traditional cold outreach. It's becoming as outdated as a VHS tape in an era of streaming and binge-watching. Once upon a time it was all about quantity, more contacts equalled more conversions. But now LinkedIn is less supermarket sweep and more intimate dinner party where the quality of interactions matters over sheer numbers. Here are some reasons why traditional lead gen just doesn't cut it anymore: 1️⃣ Lost in translation: Cold messages often end up ignored or worse, – marked as spam. They feel impersonal and out-of-context. 2️⃣ Potential buyers' fatigue: Bombarding prospects with pitches only wears them down. Nobody joins LinkedIn to be sold at constantly. 3️⃣ Algorithms & AI: The tech-savvy platform prioritizes authentic relationships over transactional exchanges (think Beauty & Beast over Tinder). Change can be tough to swallow. Even if it’s washed down with some vintage Chianti but fear not, out of change comes opportunity. So let’s embrace the evolution and focus on intentional interactions, on building relationships first and letting those lead us organically to conversions. Subtle? Yes! Effective? Very! Who among our savvy networkers here have already taken this path when it comes to lead gen on LinkedIn? Share some tips or happy handshakes that happened today. Let's turn our connection into conversations.

How do you incorporate AI in your marketing activity?
Today, a funny thing happened at work. I was on a call with @Andrei Stoica, and a partner joked about how half of the audience is AI 😅. We're not afraid that AI will take our jobs (we're smart people - just to set things straight from the start🤣); we even let it learn from us. 🦸 It gives us, in return, the best meeting notes, takeaways with links to the dedicated sections from the recording, easy integration with other tools (e.g., Hubspot, G-Suite, Teams, Zoom), and the next steps laid out in an easy-to-follow to-do list, transcripts of our talk, and a follow-up email. All for free. 😎 It helped me focus better and have more meaningful discussions with my clients (I remember how fragmented my calls were because I needed to stop & ensure I noted down everything essential🫣). If you haven't explored them yet, here are my best AI Meeting Assistants: - Bubbles, I've learned about it from @Liana Stoica, and I love that it understands Romanian so well 🫶 - Fathom, I've learned about it from @Daniel Secareanu, and I like the takeaways, the upcoming call notification, and the easy integration with Hubspot & G-suite. Bonus - my Grammarly pal ensures I write like a native English speaker and helps me improve my vocabulary. And ofc, chatGPT (I won't link anything here for obvious reasons 🫠), with whom I always have respectful talks (saying "please," "thanks," and "you did an awesome job here" ✌️) when it helps me shorten the copy I provide for my clients for the X platform. I H-A-T-E-D this tedious task before AI. That's about it. My almighty AI tech stack 😅. I'm genuinely looking to expand my toolbox, so note in the comments what your preferred tools are.

@Natalia Dărăbăneanu, yeah. IMHO, AI copy detectors are really bad at detecting. :))) I got 10% AI on texts written entirely with AI, but I also got 90% AI written on texts written entirely by me, in a business tone of voice. I would not trust them. I think the best AI copy detector is the common sense and finding the patterns (“in today’s competitive industry, it is important to…” or “you hit the nail in the head” or “Delve into…” kind of stuff. You know what I’m talking about. :))))
