We all have had those leaders that tell us what to do and never seem to follow thier own advice. I want to start a discussion about why you think that is?
Good way to kick this off Matt. I will attempt to take a different angle on this. When people feel vulnerable or uncomfortable they will tend to project or criticize others to validate themselves. Leaders are often the people most criticized because leaders can lose their humanity by position. True leaders do not ask to be on a pedestal and removed of human error. This can be an opportunity to reach out to an individual and seek to learn what and where the uncomfortable feeling is coming from. Both of your comments, I agree with whole heartedly.
