Welcome! Introduce Yourself
What is up everyone? I am absolutely STOKED to be apart of your eFoil journey and be apart of your progressions. The goal with this community is to help eFoilers learn how to ride safely in order to be come a smoother and faster rider. As the community levels up, so does the sport of eFoiling. Its up to us to push the manufactures to innovate and push the limits of what we think is possible. Step 1: Introduce yourself in THIS thread below! What are your goals? Where's your local spot? Hey all! I’m Artis, from Latvia (a small country in the Central Eastern Europe). Looks like I’m the first non-US based member here. Exciting! This will now be my 3rd summer of efoiling. I travel a lot so have had opportunities to efoil in Aruba, Greece, the Philippines, Mexico (rode efoil from Cancun to Isla Mujeres and back) and, of course, - lessons with Justin in Miami and Naples, US. I actually flew my family across the ocean to train DLG with that guy. My current setup in Latvia is a 4’9 Lift with a 170HA wing/38 tail, no propguard. Ownership not by choice but by opportunity of a great price deal. That said- I love riding Justin’s Ultras with a Flow 1100 wing. And any other Flite that comes my way when traveling. As for future “anywhere in the world” locations I’m looking forward to ride someday in Puerto Rico and Hawaii. But for that I need to level up my efoiling skills. Goals are to improve turns, DLG, foot movement and breeches. And move up from locked speed to top speeds in remote control. Very excited to be a part of this community!
