@Mikey Auskings haha i hear ya. but it's been 14 shots since switching to mid caps to get from 85 back to 99. which is 16%. i took a screenshot of my trading journal for ya. 14 trades. 5 losses. 4 2:1 trades. 2 raised stops to catch some profit but missed pt. and a couple other one share trades, one was 2:1, one was break even. and the first mid cap was trade was before the nacci and the latest continuation setup i just added. as you can see, my profits are nearly double my losses. so i'm definitely gonna stay true to 2:1 and risk management. before i switched to mid caps and hyper focused on risk management, those five losses would have been much worse, and my profits would be much less. like i said before, it does absolutely nothing for me to have a 70% win rate and no profits to show for it right lol. as for the daily chart, that's something to look at, but i'm ok with setting my pt based on risk level. getting rejected at 7.98 today in no mans land, eh lol. just as easily could have gotten to its recent 8.04 resistance on the daily and just as easily could have pushed through that to the 8.48 the day before those two days of 8.04/8.05. KISS homie. the only "safe" i care for is having my stop in place lol. gotta give a stock room to work out. gotta manage that risk. I'm on the right path and i know it. i'm managing risk well now, my profits are nearly twice the amount of my losses..i'm gonna working on the execution of my continuation/pullback setups and stay true the risk management path i'm on.

@Mikey Auskings 😂🤣killin me smalls...price go down, Mikey hold LOLOL. screen time, looking over charts end of day, definitely been great. always looking at entries risk and pt's on each chart. never 100%, but that's not what we're looking for right. data is showing me that probability is high for 2:1 or 3:1even, based off of entry spots and risk. i'm not worried about 3:1 or more at the moment. i'm trying to get to the point where i'm profitable. so i'll keep setting my pt at 2:1 in the meantime to take that jump in my journey.

December goals, excellent!!! rule #1, cut losses quickly. me thinks, if you treat each trade as its own, with a fraction of your 4% daily risk, you will be a profitable trader indeed. the data is the data. you have some spectacular wins. and you like taking multiple trades every day, that just simply is what it is. that's who you are. so curtail your risk management to perfectly fit your personality. avoid allowing yourself to risk 4% on each individual trade. perhaps come up with a hard X amount of daily trades. instead five trades one day, seven trades another, three another...max yourself to X amount and do this consistently. divide your daily 4% risk by that number, and let that be your hard line risk amount on each individual trade. do that, i know for a fact, just off the data of your trades, you will be a green machine. food for thought.

@Mikey Auskings right! man i didnt have a pullback opportunity on Wednesday and initially i was like well, a day off lol, but then started thinking about it more and more. looked over charts and looked for a strategy with entry risk and pt. leading into open, got the 15 min chart pulled up to see the high and low of the most recent three candles, including the one going into open. set a buy order a penny above the high, risk is at the low, and pt double that. a variation of the earnings reaction setup derek taught us. i wouldn't be surprised if this becomes my go to setup moving forward, and the pullback setup being 1b.

(i'm reading this after writing out my lesson learned this week in the thread). keep things uniform, half the weeks profits aren't given back in one losing trade right. plus, you still find a way to laugh and have fun, critical. plus, live to trade another day.
