Item Not Received But Tracking Says Delivered
Okay group. Customer says item was not received and still wants item. (I ship USPS thru ebay) Tracking says deliver front porch date and time. I’ve updated tracking and then emailed customer those tracking details with date of shipment, date of delivery and asked that his provided address be verified and typed it out. This is the first time in this situation. It’s rotten for us both. So what is the next step? Am I responsible for refund?

@Valerie Battle I've had this happen several times and I would say most of the time the item does get delivered the next day or so. I usually message the buyer and ask them to wait for the next delivery window/day and if it hasn't arrived by then to contact the local Post Office. If it gets that far, they can try to reach out to eBay. It's not fun for either party if this truly is a lost/stolen/missing package, but you have to protect yourself, too!
Does anyone know the brand?
I've been looking up this brand for the past couple of days, and I've come up with nothing 😭 every time I look for the brand "545" it just comes up with dresses that are $545, and that's on all platforms and search engines. It feels like a super high quality dress so I picked it up anyways. I just don't want to list low because of the unknown brand and it end up being worth more. Thanks!

It's always frustrating to not be able to find the info on a brand. Luckily it seems like a good style-based pickup, so if the brand isn't leading you to the answers you're looking for, try just searching all the other keywords you would use to list it and see what comps are like! This should give you an idea of what people are willing to pay!

@Jessica Armer It definitely should! It's all in the keywords! 😄
Impatient gene kicking in!
Hi all! So I got the motivation to get a ton of listings photographed and have started to list them. I keep hearing people say that consistency is key and I'm still not being as consistent as I'd like. I have started to schedule a few listings for every day over the next week. My issue is that I can't get it out of my head that I wish they were listed now to get eyes on them sooner. Is that something to get over? Is it better to dole out listings through the week or get them posted ASAP?

@Jerry Wilson that's great! I will definitely be using it more then!

@Joann Defelici Thank you so much! It will be some trial and error for sure because consistency isn't an easy thing in this household. I'm starting to realize that some is better than none if I can't keep to the schedule I've set myself. Take the wins as they come, but don't let a loss ruin the whole game!
Pricing Fall Items With Summer Comps
Logic tells me that pricing sweaters, jackets and long sleeve shirts now with 90 days sales results showing on eBay would be lower prices now rather than what they should be priced at. How do you price fall/winter items now when comps are skewed lower than they should be?

I've been running into the same thing! Especially for the warmer coats and things that are normally substantial pieces for a substantial price. I haven't ever really used the Terakpeak function, but now feels like the time to jump in and learn. I'm also unsure about when to mark these items down in price since the cool/cold season will be a longer time than I usually wait to do markdowns.
eBay return policy 😭
Hi everyone! I have a question . How do you deal with returns ? I thought the NO RETURN policy was on the sellers side but unfortunately I’ve learned it is not ! I see people are able to take your item switch it and then say it was not as described. But is there a way you maybe mark your item or some how able to identify but a serial number or something to keep people from doing this ? I think it sucks people are really like 😭

Unfortunately there are people out there that will abuse the system. I think the biggest thing is to not let them ruin any of this for you. There are a lot more decent people out there, so don't let the stinkers win! One of the best pieces of advice I've heard about returns is to offer free, no questions asked returns. If someone messages you about needing to return something, you can accept and they return it. A lot of the time they won't even go through the hassle. Best case scenario, you get your item back to resell, worst case scenario they send something back that isn't yours. In this case, reach out to ebay, find a way to reach them by phone! They are there to help in those instances.
