I just made a comment here in BAIS Camp less than an hour ago making mention the two AIs I use the most and how at the rate of advancements that could change in 24 hours. And here we are. . . Google just released Gemini 1.0 last week and already introducing their next advancement Gemini 1.5! 1 MILLION tokens. Their capability to process mass amounts of data and videos is getting ready to be next level. That's 1 hour of video. 11 hours of audio. 30K lines of code!!! 700K words. Wanted to share this Tech Crunch article on what the USPTO, the full article link is below but here is Arc's quick summary :) The US Patent and Trademark Office has issued guidance stating that only natural human beings can be named as inventors on patent applications. While AI systems can assist with invention, the AI itself cannot be listed as an inventor. For an invention developed with AI assistance to be patented, a human must demonstrate that they made a significant intellectual contribution to the conception of the invention.
