inerrancy & infallibility
the bible is? the definitions are giving me a headache. everything im reading is saying something like: inerrant means "without error" and infallible means "incapable of error”. Why are they so annoyingly synonymous or can i just not see the nuance? How do you guys view the scriptures? do they have error? do you consider different accounts of events as “errors”?

Inerrancy means that something is completely free from errors, while infallibility means it is incapable of leading people astray or being wrong in its teachings (unless you misinterpreted it)
Advice
Have any of you ever felt like you want to know so much but don’t know anything? How do you overcome this theological anxiety? Also, my joy in life is trinitarian theology, so I’d love resources to keep reading and expounding my knowledge in these areas, specifically Spirit Christologicy.

We are finite creatures trying to learn about an infinite being. So we know what we know because that’s what he revealed to us. But some point you need to make your peace that you can’t understand everything. But that’s the beauty of theology there’s always something to be learned.
Politics
This being my first year to vote I have been more intrigued by the political sector, so I been looking at it from a psychological perspective. There’s a three step process to get to the US vs. Them (in-group and out-group). (1) categorization, (2) identification, and (3) Comparison. Essentially you find a group, adopt its behavior , and then find a competing group (or rival). The problem is people are obsessed with their group (Republican and democratic). So instead of being understanding/relational. If someone’s view is not from the same group they see that person as someone who needs to be “ fixed”. I what to your hear your thoughts. How can our Christian worldview play in this secular sector?
