How do you create good Ads?
Well let's first break down what an Ad actually is... An Ad is a framework. A framework, where you input information. The thing that makes an Ad good is NOT the mastering of the framework. It is the quality of the information that you're able to input. And so, if you have a really good product, really good results, and happy students... you can input really good information into this framework called an Ad. And you'll get WAY better at advertising than people focusing on advertising by NOT focusing on advertising and focusing on product. Because you can say cooler sh*t than they can.And then you're competitors are like:"Damn, I can't say that, because I don't have it. And I can't say that, because I don't have that either..." They're like, "I know what to do, but I can't..." Lol... You see, it's LESS about the gimmicks and MORE about just the REALITY that whatever you're selling IS really great, and you can then portray that. So to create GOOD Ads... GREAT Ads even... It's a huge mental shift. You actually have to STOP thinking of yourself as a marketer... And start looking at yourself as an Ad Man... Because to great great Ads, you need to already have a great offer.And that offer must get clients results So much so, that the majority of people who buy it, brag about it.They tell you how much they love you...They tell your other client's how much they love working with you...They tell people who follow them about you and how you've helped them...Which btw, then does all your marketing for you.And then you, as an Ad Man, simply input THAT information... into the Ad framework. Miami dinner reveals why most businesses will fail in 2025...
Last night I went to dinner with a few friends who also have online businesses here in Miami, Florida. Among us, we had people generating up to $2.4 million per month... We caught up, shared stories, and celebrated each other’s wins. But one powerful lesson came out of that evening, and I felt compelled to share it with you. Right now, across the board, there’s a noticeable shift in the industry... Everyone at the table – regardless of niche – was seeing similar things. Ad costs are crazier than ever, and trust in the marketplace is at an all-time low. And a ton of businesses are struggling to scale right now because they don’t take the time to genuinely connect with their audience. They rely on ads to do all the heavy lifting – expecting ads to build trust, attract leads, and convert customers. But today, that’s not enough. In fact, it barely works anymore... To scale past $100,000/month, especially if you’re in coaching, info products, masterminds, or agency services, you need three essential pillars: Attention, Nurture, and Trust. 1. Attention – Getting in front of your audience is essential. This includes organic content, running ads, or doing cold outreach via DMs or email. But just getting attention is the easy part. 2. Nurture – Once you’ve got their attention, you have to nurture it. This is where most businesses drop the ball. They get attention but don’t take the steps to help their audience understand who they are and why they care. That’s where your sales funnel, sales calls, email marketing, and ongoing organic content come in. 3. Trust – Trust is the biggest pillar that most people miss. It’s built through testimonials, case studies, consistent quality content, and a solid brand culture. Ads don’t build trust by themselves; it’s everything you do between the clicks and conversions that makes people trust you. If you’re relying solely on ads to bring in the revenue, you're leaving money on the table. Ads simply bring in attention. What you do after someone clicks – that’s where the money is actually made. The easiest way to start getting clients from YouTube
Most business owners overcomplicate what content they should make... They overthink the topics, lighting, camera equipment, and end up producing nothing. As a result, they don't ever start their personal brand AND always have to rely on word of mouth, OR referrals to get clients. Sure, a lot of people can get $30k/months, many even get to $50k/months, but very FEW even reach OR surpass $100k/months simply off word of mouth/referrals. But this is NOT sustainable IF you want to scale... You need a combination of: 1. Paid Ads 2. Organic Content 3. Email Marketing ALL working together to build and grow your agency OR coaching company... But you should NOT run ads UNLESS you are already making at least $25-30k/month minimum. This is because after spending $60M on ads specifically for coaching, course, agency, and mastermind businesses these last 5-years... We have the data to prove that MOST people who do, fail... and miserably too. They don't have enough proof of concept, they barely have any budget to spend and test on ads, and they lack the right mindset to see ads as acquiring data that will allow them to scale. This is why IF you're making LESS than $25-30k/month in your business right now... You NEED to be posting more content. And the BEST platform to do that on, is YouTube. Here's how you do it... STEP 1: Model Channels I want you to go to YouTube, and find 5 YouTube channels that create content for YOUR target audience. This is easy. Just search keywords, questions, or topics YOUR ideal clients are asking you. Then, simply add the TOP 5 most popular channels that make content similar to you, and move to STEP 2. STEP 2: Popular Videos On their YouTube channels, click the videos tab, and sort by most popular.Then, Copy & Paste their TOP 20 most popular videos title's onto a google sheet. Next, make sure you enter each video's view count in a column next to the video titles. IMPORTANT: Only copy & paste the titles of videos made in the last 3-years...

@Brian Moncada for someone who's just starting off in this space (YouTube ads), this is a super powerful and humbling post. I've spent circa $2k over the past month with little success --- poor landing page conversion which i initially attributed to poor ad targeting, crap alignment between ad and landing page, or just a poor landing page. BUT per your comment above, perhaps it's just a lack of proof of concept, and i need to get the basics in place and start posting to my channel! appreciate the post. brilliant. DG
