Billing
For small jobs, they are usually just billed after job is completed. For large jobs, or large jobs for large clients, how should billing be considered. Should there be a deposit, essentially covering materials to be used, or a deposit of a percentage of the total cost of the project be used.

We have people sign commitment letters. So if they don't pay within 60 days we have the ability to sell the items to pay for the work. If it is something we don't think we can sell for any reason afterwards then we take a 50% deposit. For large jobs depending on the company we are working with we do 30 day terms with them from time of completion. This gives them the confidence that they can make some money off the products before having to pay for it. These things have worked great for us!
