@Kathleen Murphy You liked a comment from nearly a year ago, and I want to say thank you. It was fantastic to review the prizing I did, where things were a year ago. My husband is still (insert plethora of negative emotions here). My work situation is still not the most comfortable. And! And I have invested in myself by signing up to take a manager in training course. I have spent money on this course, as opposed to all the free courses I have been attending for my PD. Took me a while to actually register- but I did! I am the kind of woman who overcomes fear to try something outside her comfort zone. I am the kind of woman who takes action that that will help her future! And! The universe has recently gifted me with a couple of extremely amazing days without the upper management at work. Those days helped me to see that this is what I want to do, I just need to take steps to do it in an environment where I feel safe and more comfortable. I AM the kind of woman who leans into change to care for her family- just like I declared a year ago. I am the kind of woman who takes small steps towards the life she wants. I am the kind of woman who is open to opportunities, and I am the kind of woman who takes action.

I get to prize myself. Last evening (5 pm magic hour) I tackled something I've thought about for years. Mountain out of a mole hill. The consistency and support of attending magic hour is paying off.

Giving a visual to how much mowing I did in a total of 16 hours of walking behind the beastly 14.5 HP mower with a 30 inch cutting deck. After asking, partner graciously agreed to mow about 3/4 of an acre on the dryer section with the riding mower while I continued in the wetter areas. The rest was too wet to mow with the small or large tractors, so I got my steps in mowing 4.8 acres 30 inches at a time. (I got to mow the actual yard with the regular mower as well...partner decided he couldn't help out there.) Hoping that by mowing once now with the walk behind beast, we won't be mowing 7 foot tall reed canary grass in June like we have done the last two years. It's nasty to mow at that height because it wraps around the drive shaft of the mower unless you back over it... a whole different challenge to accomplish on lumpy ground...driving backwards to mow... I am the kind of woman who tries to act pre-emptively to make life easier down the road...
