Well after graduating my focus will be on enhancing the healthcare outcomes by combating infectious diseases in Nigeria. I would like to work with public health organization like the Nigeria Centre for disease control or any research institution to develop strategies to reduce the spread of this diseases.
WHAT HAS CHANGED SINCE YOUR LAST DENIAL?
Since my last interview, I realized there might have been concerns about my finances. I've worked on that by saving more and securing an on-campus employment, which will help cover my housing costs and reduce the financial burden. My desire to get a U.S. education has only grown stronger, and I'm still fully committed to returning to Nigeria, because of my family and friends and the opportunity that awaits me.

A lot has changed since my last denial but my determination to gain a US education has only grown stronger because the knowledge I want to gain is very essential for my career goals, I was awarded a 20% scholarship and also secured an on campus employment that would cover for my housing expenses, also I’m still fully committed to returning back to Nigeria, to my family and friends after my program.
Why are you going to the US?

WHY ARE YOU GOING TO THE US I’m going to the US to achieve my dream of having an advanced degree in public health, I currently work as a laboratory research assistant at the LUTH. I’ve been there for about 3 years, interestingly I really do admire the level of research work carried out by most institutions, which is why I want to study there, most especially what got my interest is the contribution that the United States has made in public health industry. I’ve also been admitted to several schools but the one that stood out for me is the university of New Haven, because of their elaborate public health program, it’s quite affordable compared to the other schools I got admitted into.
