Unlocking Hidden Anger: The Truth Behind Emotional Outbursts
Daily Dose of Integrity Do you ever wonder why you get so angry at random times or in random situations? I will let you in on a little secret: it's not random at all. The truth is, you've been saving up your anger. You've been investing, and this is the return on that investment. You've been building up your anger. Nobody punches someone in the face because of one moment of anger. They do it because they've been building it up for weeks or months. This is how murder happens. You know when a normally sane person commits a murder, it's not because someone just ticked them off a little bit. It’s because they've been suppressing anger their entire life. So, when you catch yourself binge drinking, doing risky behaviours, shouting at people or randomly quitting things that were going well, in those angry moments of reckless behaviour remind yourself: all of this is happening because you're not being honest, you are not setting boundaries and you are not respecting yourself in other areas of life. Unlocking Hidden Anger: The Truth Behind Emotional Outbursts

The biggest resentment that I still hold onto (although I have worked hard to move past it) is concerning a woman that took advantage of my being nice & helpful which ended up costing me $12,000 USD that was never paid back. Thankfully, the reminders are minimal which create a renewed resentment and realizing it is beyond my control, there is no reason to keep dwelling on it.
The Truth About Stress [pt.2 Self-Love Series]
Daily Dose of Integrity Full length video out today! This is part 2 of a 6-part series on self-love. Stress is primarily caused by high cortisol levels, which can persist for long periods, such as a year after a stressful event like moving house or even five years after grieving a loved one. Stress can manifest in various ways, including irritability, exhaustion, and physical health issues like heart disease. Stress is often a reaction to things outside one's control and is the opposite of happiness, which involves contentment with the present. This video looks at how stress relates to self-acceptance, and explores enjoying the process to reduce stress and improve overall well-being. The Power of Asking for Help: Transform Your Life
Daily Dose of Integrity If you're struggling: get support, ask for help. One of the hardest things in the world for me to do—is to ask for help. I’ve recently added two new members to my team—one to help me with creative administrative tasks and the other to help me with sales. It took me months to work myself up to actually ask them. Then, afterwards, I thought “Why didn't I do this earlier? This makes my life so much better and it makes their life better too!” Every time I've hired a coach, seen a therapist or asked my wife for advice, I always find it insightful. I don’t always agree with their perspectives, but I learned that it is helpful to include other people. If nothing else, just to validate my own ideas and come back to the basics. @Andy Wallam Defintiely a great idea on building a relationship of trust by opening up, being a bit vulnerable, and allowing the other to feel helpful/useful. As it has been said, "It is better to give than receive." someone has to receive for another to give. Food for thought that has changed my way of saying thanks!

@Andy Wallam Agree and it's all about the balance.
Incredible Strength 💪: The Truth About Life's Tragedies
I've got nothing but sympathy for suicide victims. I get giving up. There are a lot of reasons to give up and people who don't give up are incredibly courageous. If you find yourself saying things like "I suck" or "Life's terrible" that only shows how well you're doing! If you think life's terrible and you're still persisting, persevering and pressing on, bravo! It's easy to carry on when life's easy. If you can keep carrying on when life's hard, why wouldn't you pat yourself on the back for that? When you say "I have bad luck", you should ask yourself—how accurate is that? Ask yourself if that is really true. Do you have bad luck very minute of the day? In which minutes exactly did “bad luck” things happen? I had a client recently who had a number of bereavements in one year. On an average, my client lost one person a month, for 6 months. That is pretty rough. I'm sure the sense of grief was almost constantly present throughout those 6 months. I don't mean to sound callous about it, but if we apply the same logic to “good” and “bad” luck, does that mean that the rest of the time, all those days when nobody died, my client had a string of good luck?

How to Reduce Stress: Identify The "3rd Option" 🔍💡
Daily Dose of Integrity 1. Get a highlighter out 2. Take your to-do list 3. Highlight all the things that, if you don't do them, will cause somebody to die today. Anything that's not highlighted doesn't have to be done. You're lying to yourself if you say that it does. Just remember, if you're doing things in a healthy way you wouldn't be stressed. So, if you're feeling stressed, you're doing it wrong. Don't pressure yourself to keep doing it wrong. Figure out how to do it right. Call out the false dichotomies! You're stuck in “It's either this or that”, and they're both terrible options. Stop and ask yourself: is there, maybe, a third option that you just can't see right now because you're stressed? Because, remember, there are never only two options! To dive deeper into this topic, check out the original video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCLQPupQEeM
