Introduce Yourself! :)
Hello, welcome to the community! We have some new members, I would just like to do an introduction post. My name is Yip and I love learning and growing. I have found that my life's goal is in growth and teaching others skills. I have been through issues with depression and anxiety, and have grown out of these issues with room for even more improvement, and I would like to share my progress with the world. I love skateboarding, going to the gym, creating content, and making art. I also enjoy reading and learning about social media and I'm on track for a Bachelor's degree in marketing. I want to know more about my community, What brings you here, what are you interested in learning about, and what are the areas in life that you want to continue growing in? Also, how can I help my people in their search for their ideal self? Thanks for reading, talk to you soon! ๐Ÿ˜„

I honestly stumbled upon your channel one night and after watching the videos u had, and I was like "yeah, I could benefit from that", so that's how I joined this lovely community. It's not like I want to learn something specific, but I feel that it's crucial for my growth to follow such content. I wanna continue growing in the spiritual area of my life, bettering my mentality and learning more about the subconscious perhaps? All that stuff in general. To help people (which you're already doing, thank you sm), you gotta continue doing what you're doing, setting a good example for us (again, you're already doing that by uploading daily and not giving up๐–นญ). Btw you could start uploading clips of your videos on TikTok, I think they'll be well received there, especially since people seem to use it more than YouTube๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ.
If you love what you do, you will succeed
If you truly care about what you are interested in learning, growth comes naturally. Your consistency will allow you to grow as long as you keep on learning actively. Often, we are clouded by fear and doubt and excitement. We think that the best way to grow is to put in 200%, and then we will be successful. This is a common misconception. Real growth comes from doing the activity with as minimal effort as possible. This allows us to stay consistent with growth and avoid burnout. When we reach burnout before truly building a habit, it is easy to just completely quit the activity as a whole. When we build a habit first of consistently working on our craft, it allows us to eventually get to a point where what felt like 200% in the beginning now only feels like 50% effort, because your mind and body are in alignment with the activity. Things only get easier over time, and the hardest part of learning anything is the first 10%. It is hard to learn something without loving it. If it was not meant for you, you will never find real joy in doing the activity, even if you see external success. I want to know what is the thing that you love most in your life, and what would be a way to incorporate it daily with as minimal effort as possible to ensure you avoid burnout. Thank you for reading, I will talk to you soon!

my, my, it's like you slapped me with common sense. Right now, there's nothing I TRULY love doing in life, but I've been more into the law of assumption and studying some books about it to make sure I'm not wasting my time or anything. I've come to the conclusion that yep, it's a real thing, a real process, and the easiest way to get what you desire is to affirm it, to think as the version of yourself that you want to be, and persist in that without wavering (I really recommend listening to Sammy Ingram on yt). So these days, I've been affirming, but that's where I struggle with consistency. I get bored just thinking about a specific thing over n over again, and when I do affirm a lot, it feels like my head is burning outโ€“smt like that. To get what you want quickly, you should make it your dominant thought so the subconscious can incorporate it (the subconscious is 'blind'; if you feed it lies, it'll just manifest them), but your post made me realize I should slow down a bit so I can actually enjoy affirming and not feel like my head is about to detach from my neck, lol.

@Yip Tse yeah you're definitely right, I've been focusing on the intensity more, thank you so much for making me realize this, I feel myself growing each day with the help of your channel, I love your work!!
Consistency evens out all fluctuations in progress
I often struggled with consistency in the past, and falling behind in progress would be so detrimental to me that I would quit the thing that I am attempting to learn, do, or create. As I age and continue to learn about myself, I realize that the only path to failure is quitting. Many of our favorite artists, musicians, athletes were rejected or "failed" countless times, but it is that dedication and commitment to their craft that prevailed in the end. Every failure just became a stepping stone on the way to success that they were able to learn from. That is to say, consistency will iron out all the ups and downs of your progress. Some days may feel better than others, but as long as you repeat your desired action day after day, there is no option but to surpass the competition. You reap what you sow in its entirety, so those who practice their chosen discipline day after day will excel, even if the results are delayed. Great things take time, nothing good was ever done in haste. Patience with yourself and realizing that mistakes are all part of the success is what will allow you to win in the end. What are some tools you use to be more consistent?

I often watch success stories about people that already reached my goals, that motivates me to stay consistent and not waver, I also gaslight myself as well lol, because I literally have no excuse to not persist.

@Yip Tse oh yeah, definitely! meditation helps, and I often listen to theta brainwaves to enter a drowsy state and, as you said, discover more about myself. I have many goals, such as getting into a good university, being a valedictorian, and making my family and myself proud, yadiyada, all that stuff. however, my deeper aim is to 'find' myself and uncover my true 'purpose' in life. I question whether this life is just about education, work, marriage, and death, or if there's something more profound..considering that the creator of the entire universe created us, doesn't that suggest we're spiritual and, in a sense, 'magical' beings? we really don't fully understand the limits of our brain or subconscious, n I'm focusing a lot on that, as well as the law of assumption. but what about you? Is your main and only goal to inspire and teach people?
Learning is a process
Thanks for joining and welcome to the community! I hope to grow this page through consistency in practicing the things that I love. I hope we can all share our growth and development through this community. So with that out of the way, I would like to ask, what have you been working on learning?

@Yip Tse I'm glad to hear that you're improving, Yip, have u ever thought of making skateboarding vlogs? As for 'living in the present,' are you saying the past and future don't really matter? I remember hearing that there's no such thing as 'past' or 'future' because yesterday was once our present, and tomorrow will also be our present. It's like time is just an insignificant concept we made up. Also, you mentioned you're into astronomy, which I love too! Do you have any book recommendations on the topic?๐–นญ

@Yip Tse You even know how to juggle? Dayum. Here's a thought: what happens when you push yourself so hard that you lose touch with what's natural for you? People can sometimes suppress their true feelings and authenticity to the point where they can't tell what's right or wrong anymore. It's a bit unsettling, like becoming a robot stuck in a monotonous routine, don't u think so? So, I was wondering how not to reach this level of lifelessness, do u have any ideas around this topic Yip? I've checked out that channel btw, and hm, it seems highly interesting, plenty of thanks! Also, don't assume I'm crazy or smt, but do u believe that humans actually landed on the moon? Sometimes I feel that we're just living on lies and illusions and nothing is what it appears to be anymore๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ Have a great day yourself, eat your meals and remember to drink plenty of water, did u know that water has memory btw? :o
