@Tricia Bernard Thank you Tricia it was a very difficult decision I had tremendous resistance towards it but this is when my spiritual happened and there was a greater power pushing me towards it. Looking forward to get to know you and mutually share our experiences.

Hmmm...those are good questions 1. I overcome negativity by understanding what is true about the situation, what is at the root of the emotions I'm feeling and meditate to get clarity and guidance which propels me to take the action I need to deal with the situation from a place of detachment, objectivity and positivity. An example, we're renovating our kitchen and felt that my husband was putting too much pressure and workload on me. I was feeling frustrated anxious and started to resent him. So instead of lashing out I took some time in silence which helped me calm down and understand my wounds. I shared my feelings with my husband from a place of love and we both came up with a plan that felt right for me and him. 2. When I'm anxious I ask myself "am I grounded, am I present" then I take deep breaths to calm my system down. I find when in the present I see things more objectively, everything seems doable and time no longer plays a role. 3. As I got deeper with my spiritual work, meditation became a non-negotiable for me. Spending time in silence has really helped me with connecting to my inner guidance. Sometimes I only have the capacity for 10 minutes. I find anytime I spend in silence improves my connection. I'm now working to get better at connecting to my inner guidance in the midst of chaos.
