The rules feature is a great way to display our community values
I’m a bit confused about the feature announcement live-stream regarding the rules. It seeed that the rules have been replaced with the admin count, and now they’re nowhere to be found. Are they still accessible, anywhere? In in the help center it still says to just share our rules inside the first "start here" course or is it possible that the update hasn’t been reflected yet? Could you clarify the current status of the rules and where they should be visible?

🚀 The Affiliate System You NEED to Add
Dear Skool Team, Let’s cut to the chase—a community that knows how to convert is a goldmine, not just for the host but for its members too. Super fans, the ones who live and breathe the vibe of a group, are dying to promote something they believe in. So why aren’t we giving them the tools to do it? Here’s the proof: the Strategy Group blew up from 3,800 to 4,000 members in two weeks because they hacked together an affiliate system behind the scenes. This isn’t a nice-to-have—it’s a must-have. What you need to build: • Affiliate Power for Members: Let them promote their community and get paid. • Flexible Commissions: Give hosts the ability to set payouts as high as 80%—make it worth their while. • A Real Dashboard: Track referrals, commissions, and payouts like a pro. This isn’t just about growth—it’s about unleashing the full potential of every community. If you want your platform to dominate, this feature isn’t optional. It’s the future. Looking forward to seeing this roll out. Let’s make it happen. Best, Jamal

@Derek Kolstad Skool doesn‘t do timelines. It does surprises.
Rules for this community
I'm not happy with the recent trends in this community. This is a place for genuine conversations and connections with other community owners. This is not a place for you to build your "thought leader" reputation with "4 things I learned in Bali about leadership" type posts and hollow comments. Here's the rules: 1. Don't be annoying 2. No self promotion 3. Don't use chatGPT 4. This isn't LinkedIn: Don't be a "thought leader" (see meme) 5. No engagement farming: Empty content to boost posts and get likes 6. Be positive 7. Make an effort If you see any posts/comments that break these rules - report them. If you're not sure, report them anyway. We're tightening up moderation.

Let's keep Skool the last social media network with actual standards.
💎 My Skool Community Feature Wishlist
1. Meeting Information Auto-Sync: We need the ability to automatically pull meeting details (date, time, and duration) from platforms like Zoom or Google Meet into our event scheduler as soon as we insert the meeting link. Currently, we have to manually input this information twice—once in Zoom/Google Meet, and again in Skool’s event scheduler. This is inefficient and time-consuming. Even if I share the event link on other platforms like WhatsApp, recipients can immediately see the meeting details (date, time, etc.). This feature is essential and expected soon. 2. Post Embedding: I view my Skool community as a giant testimonial folder, but currently, I'm limited to taking screenshots of member posts to showcase outside of Skool. It would save a lot of time and effort if we could embed posts directly on external websites. This would function like how the Threads app handles post embedding, allowing easy sharing. It also adds credibility, as people could click on the embedded post and be taken directly into the community. This would make Skool far more attractive for external marketing. 3. Course-Specific Categories: Right now, we can only create discussion categories that apply to all members or just admins/mods. But for courses, this limitation is inefficient. Every course should have its own category for assignments, discussions, and homework, segmented specifically for participants of that course. While members who haven’t purchased the course should still be able to view the discussions (so they can see what they’re missing), the category should be primarily for those enrolled. We already have the ability to set events for specific course participants; this should be extended to categories.

@Jamie Chadburn clarify.
Events feature request.
Wouldn't it be way smarter if the Skool Calendar just pulls the information from the meeting link that was inserted? Because right now, we basically have to schedule each event twice. :D (also basic smileys don't generate generate automatically when typing as you can see) 😉

Hey @Raquaza Moss! No, I meant that primarily when we make any of them just like my five day challenge right now, I basically set up everything in Google meet. The time the duration the description some invites for reminders and then we insert that link inside the school calendar, right, but it doesn't end there. We actually have to do the whole thing all over again, which is not the biggest issue in the world, but it would be pretty fancy if by inserting a zoom or a Google meet link school could just pull the information we already previously set up in the Google calendar because right now we have to again input, the date, the time and duration and description. So when I am doing a five day event, for example I have to do the whole thing 10 times. Five times and five times in skool. I really just want to help this platform to become the best of all.
