Powerful podcast episode
I came across the podcast episode with Fr. Dan Reehil, exorcist of the Diocese of Nashville, and thought it was impactful on many fronts. It's long, but a valuable listen. Father Dan Reehil is a Catholic priest who transitioned from a successful Wall Street career to the priesthood after a life-changing pilgrimage to Medjugorje in 1998. This spiritual conversion led him to leave New York after 9/11 and begin priestly formation in Boston. He was ordained in 2014 and now serves as the exorcist for the Diocese of Nashville and pastor of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Columbia, Tennessee. In addition to his pastoral duties, Father Reehil is the National Director of Radio Maria USA, where he hosts the program "Battle Ready," focusing on spiritual topics. He is also a sought-after speaker on issues of faith, exorcism, and spiritual warfare, drawing from his unique experiences.

"First we overlook evil, then we permit evil, then we legalize evil, then we promote evil, then we celebrate evil, then we persecute those who still call it evil." Father Dwight Longenecker

Powerful quote. It is a good reminder that all evil starts with pride. "The rule of heaven: Thy will be done. The rule of hell: My will be done." - C.S. Lewis
Seek what is lasting and true
Heavenly Father, Grant us the wisdom to choose virtue over fleeting pleasures. When we are tempted by sin, remind us that its vain satisfaction is momentary, but its burden lingers. And when we grow weary in doing good, strengthen our hearts, for though the tiredness fades, the goodness endures forever. Guide us to live in Your light, seeking what is lasting and true. Amen.

Seek what is lasting and true
“Be Still and Know that I am God.”
This morning it might be good to remember God’s providential care. God cares for all of our needs. BY God’s grace we are called children of God, so that we might receive the Kingdom, the house prepared for us from the beginning by the Father. As a child of God, remember that you are called by Him to live in His grace. Place yourself under His care. Trust in God’s providence. Set your sight on Heaven and let the Good God lead you Home. Father, I give you thanks for your care for me. I ask that I might remain in your presence today, aware of your goodness, awaiting your promise. Help me to be a good disciple. Grant that I may keep my eyes open to see your work around me. Help me to witness to your glory. Help me to be still, to wait, and to watch as I place my hope in you. Amen.
