Skate Choreography🕺🏽
I am considering taking some time to do some fresh choreography weekly for you all to learn. Would you be interested in that? I could post it every week, and we could all share our attempts at the choreography as a community challenge💛🔥 So we can see each other skate and hype each other up! Would you enjoy learning this and sharing your choreo if I did that? Comment what you would like to see me put out instead if you are not interested in this. All feedback is welcome and encouraged!

Yes yes yes! Ideally I would like middle routines and then also some outside rolling choreo both!
Skate Diagram Terms and Abbreviations
It's time to level up and I've decided to try spinning for the first time. I've heard that the heel toe is a great beginner spin, so I've been dissecting a few turorials so I can start practicing at the rink. Instructions for spinning toward the left are that you are on your Left Toe and Right Back wheels. So as I'm watching one tutorial the instructor says that if you break it down it's really a combination of two spins, a LIB and a RIF. Let me tell you, I was like wait, what? I thought we were on the left toes, how is it I need to put pressure on the left inner back wheels?? I was so confused. The abbreviation didn't match the image I had created in my head for how to do the turn (drawing), and it took me a few minutes to work out that the abbreviation is for L-which leg I- which edge B-which DIRECTION (not which wheel to put pressure on) Anyway... That led me down a rabbit hole for skate dance diagram terms and abbreviations and I thought I'd share. Sometimes it really is the littlest things that trip us up😅 https://skatedancediagrams.weebly.com/diagram-terms--abreviations.html

I will say I love that diagram and the term breakdowns. LIB and RIF might be easier if you just think of doing a big circle on one foot. There's only 8 ways to do it. So if you're going forward on your right foot for instance... And you apply pressure to your inside edge you're going to turn.... Yup... Left.
Practice
How much practice time are yall getting every week? I skate for a couple of hours usually around 3 times a week, but i always want to skate more!! haha

I'm the same maybe one session more and sometimes a trail skate. HOWEVER, I have def found lately that I'm not really going in with any gameplay sometimes (and though any time in skates is always good for improvement) there's definitely a difference between rolling around and like dedicating time to specific drills and proper techniques and and all that. I always have fun skating but sometimes I'll skate a few hours and look back and realize I don't really learn anything new or challenge myself.
Roll Line Mustangs
Hey everyone! So I have been debating buying a set of Roll Line Mustang wheels. Anyone have any experience with these personally? I’m curious how they skate. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

Omg! If you get those let me know. I've been looking at the same wheel! Roll line is like the only brand wheel I haven't tried LOL

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. You really can't go wrong with Riedell.
