Summer Camp Recommendations?
I am looking for summer camp recommendations. I don’t think we can swing it for this summer so I’m looking ahead to next summer. My son will be going on 13 at that time and would like to do a sleep away camp focused on Acting or Theater. We are willing to travel to it and have a year to save some money so please hit me with your recommendations for the best camps for young actors (could be theater focused or geared toward on camera acting). Thanks!!

Getting All Your Essential Shots from a 3-Look Session
Headshots are more than mere images; they are a canvas upon which a child’s potential is projected, a first impression that can open doors to worlds unimagined. With just a 3-look photo session to showcase the breadth of your child’s versatility, preparation becomes paramount. This guide is tailored to help you deftly navigate through this process, ensuring you emerge with a portfolio that speaks volumes of your child’s adaptability, charm, and depth. https://www.childactor101.com/101-blog/getting-multifaceted-shots-from-a-3-look-headshot-session

@Adriana Boveda Thanks for this information. How can you tell when/where she is traveling? Do you just reach out to her directly for her schedule?

New Class starts Thursday
I have a new online class that helps young actors make self tapes that rise above the rest and get noticed by casting directors. It just takes a little strategy…https://pay.childactor101.com/b/14k3dT9q31It5e8aGV

We have conflicts with the timing of this class but would love to participate in the future if you offer it again.
10y old in MA passionate about performing!
Hi! We are still at the beginning of this journey. My 10y old has been doing community musical theater since she was a toddler, singing and playing instruments, but about a year ago started asking me to seek auditions. I’m a total newbie and work full time so slowly and reluctantly began looking into the industry. She has active profiles, has done small projects and is submitting self tapes. We still need a professional headshot and once we have better footage for a reel, will try to seek out representation. This group has been extremely helpful and I’m grateful it exists!

Hi! I’m in a very similar position with my 11 year old! I also work full time and have been trying to learn as much as I can in my spare time to help support my musical theater kiddo who wants to branch out.
Mom to an 11 year old Aspiring Actor
Hi. I’m Jenn and my son, Aven, is an 11 year old actor. He’s been in three local musical theater productions and has been taking acting, voice and dance lessons for a few years. He loves musical theater but has recently started to express an interest in branching out beyond the stage and acting on camera. We are completely new to this industry and so I’m trying to learn as much as I can. The Child Actor 101 FB page has been a wonderful resource for me and I am looking forward to learning more on this new platform.
