LinkedIn for Video - Client Video Testimonial
Hey VBM! I've been gone for a bit and those who've seen some of my posts, know how big I am on using LinkedIn for getting clients for your video business. I preach because I follow the same strategy by consistently posting content with a major focus on short form videos to get the audience interested and eventually booking a call for inbound. And, I also start conversations with my ideal prospects to show them what can be achieved by doing the right video content for outbound. We finished work for one of my clients who got some crispy results with the videos we produced for her and recorded a 1 minute 30 seconds video talking about her experience, the results and how I helped her understand video content better. Here's how building your personal brand and LinkedIn can help you with your business. This is my Friday Recap from last week: (17th May 2024) 12:37 pm – Posted on LinkedIn with my Calendly in the CTA (see screenshot 1) 1:04 pm – Prospect scheduled a meeting for 6:00 pm the same day. (see screenshot 2) 6:00 pm – We start with our call and he's already sold with just asking how to work with me. We start work by the end of this month. Prospect closed in under 12 HOURS! This is the true potential of pairing video content with LinkedIn! __ P.S. Another client closed earlier this week with the same exact strategy.

📌 P.P.S. Building a personal brand can be the best thing you can do for your business especially when you supercharge it with video content.
6 things you’re not doing to get clients
1.) Reviewing proposal with the client over zoom instead of sending it off and hoping they understand it enough to sign. 2.) Asking for a Google review and then scheduling a follow up call to collect feedback. Then Upsell. 3.) Posting video content 3 times per week on LinkedIn. People NEED your service and you’re not showing up for them. 4.) Going to networking events to build your referral salesforce network. Social media is fading and is not personal. Building relationships in person will be the ONLY way to get qualified clients. It’s the most human way and has been happening for 5,000 years in all of earth. 5.) Building value chain partners. Who knows your business better than another videographer and photographer? Partner with them to service the same client. 6.) Getting better at storytelling. There is a formula for videos THAT ACTUALLY WORK. Your pretty cinematic videos don’t work anymore. AI can do it better. You need and always have needed videos that can communicate clearly and influence emotion and logic. I could do an entire lesson about how the videos I make for my clients get them real results. That’s why I can charge a premium. Here’s a hint: your creativity is getting in the way. Is it time for another virtual community gathering?! @Mike Langer Just a couple of notes from my initial viewing: 1. The talent audio needs to be levelled as it is uneven throughout the video. 2. You can add a bit of texture in the background when the photos show up will create depth into the frame. Plain black background looks bland. 3. I agree with Taylor that the background score is too loud and overpowers the dialogs. Overall, this seems like an unfinished edit at the moment and can be polished through out. Hope this helps!
My 4-Step framework for generating leads on LinkedIn!
My #1 content marketing system that helps me generate leads on LinkedIn And, it's completely organic and with no hard selling! I've broken it down into a 4 step framework: → 1. Posting 2-3 times every week with a focus on helping my next ideal client. I share video content mainly talking heads, project breakdowns and even raw story style videos. → 2. As soon as I post, it gets pushed to my network who consume my content and videos so it’s much easier to retain. If my content hits the pain points, prospects reach out via my DM’s inquiring about how I can help them. → 3. I have an initial conversation where I share details and see if I can help them. I ask them if they’d like to meet virtually after which I get them to schedule via Calendly. → 4. In our meeting, I learn all about what they do, their business and what they want to achieve working with me. Lastly, I ask them to make payments and voila I’ve onboarded them as clients. I've done this for 6 months straight, never failed me. __ P.S. I closed another client with this same strategy, yesterday! I'll share the entire client buyer journey in the comments. 👇🏻
