Sadly, the WF Hangout community is shutting down
Having just done my annual Conflict of Interest training, and being reminded of the need for a Global Preclearance request when doing outside things that might be interpreted as a business, and it appearing that ANY attempt to make those who current work at Wells Fargo aware of this community would violate Wells Fargo's conflict of interest guidelines, I have made the sad decision to close this community. In three days it will start costing me $99 a month, and since I have not yet worked through all the pre-clearance stuff for my other Skool community that is intended as a business, I need to limit my costs.

Poll: Are you interested in a scheduled get together?
I'm thinking it might be fun to schedule a time to get online together here online using Google Meet, and be on camera, so we can chat and catch up on what's been happening in each other's lives. โ˜• ๐ŸŒญ ๐Ÿ“… If you're interested, please indicate the cadence you would prefer. Once we decide on a cadence, we can poll the group to pick a best time. ๐Ÿ•ž Please feel free to post in the community any ideas you have along this line. I'm putting this Poll up but not exactly sure how it works! LOL Might be fun to have a naming contest for a periodic get together. ๐Ÿ†

If we put a weekly get together on the calendar, folks could join when they are able. If we get to a critical mass, we might have a few people every week.
Memorial Day Thoughts
I know I'm a day late and a dollar short (that's an old saying and my weak attempt at humor, for those who haven't heard the saying! hahaha), but I thought it would be nice to post a poem we were taught in grade school in Canada when I was growing up, to honor those who have fallen protecting our freedoms. In Canada, we celebrated "Remembrance Day" on November 11th. For those of you who may not be aware of it, the Armistice ending the first World War was signed on November 11, 1918, to bring hostilities to an end on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. (Wikipedia) Not only did we recite "In Flander's Fields" every year in the days leading up to November 11, we all wore red plastic poppies that we purchased for 5 cents. Here's the poem. In Flanders Fields BY JOHN MCCRAE In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie, In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ A sincere thank you to all of those from any nation that fought to maintain freedom in the world, whether in World War I or any other conflicts, and the families of those who shared their sacrifice. Memorial Day Thoughts
Welcome to the WF hangout place,
a place where folks who now or ever worked at WF can connect. A lot of people use these Skool sites to make money, but I'm hoping this can just be a cool place to stay connected outside of work and even after we leave Wells Fargo. Please introduce yourself, and tell us how you learned of this place, and some of your co-workers or managers at Wells so we know you're legit.
