Introduce yourself :)
Welcome, welcome to the community 👋 🏊 I promise you that I'll teach you exactly how the sports psychologist of Michael Phelps (Dr. Jim Bauman) helped me overcome my pre-race anxiety and turned me from an OK-ish swimmer into an Olympian and Swiss record holder in less than 1 year. But first... Pls, introduce yourself 😃 - Where are you from? - Who or what brought you here? - What's the biggest problem you're trying to solve? Let's goooooo! 🚀 P.S. Vote on what your child's dream is for swimming.

START HERE: 100% new PERSONAL BESTS in only 3mins/day
Welcome to the community 🏊 ===== ⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️ ===== I have a free mini-course for you, but it's for action-takers ONLY. And remember, you're doing it to help your child overcome pre-race anxiety. Total time investment: 2 hours (watch it at double speed and it's only 1 hour) 🎁 You'll get a reward if you finish this mini-course in 5 days. 🥾 If you don't, we'll ban you from this community (as I said, it's for action-takers only. Period). So... what can you learn here? ===== The mini-course ==== How I swam a Swiss record in the Olympics in front of 15'000 people using simple 3min visualization and breathing techniques (got the techniques from Dr Jim Bauman who was the sports psychologist of Michael Phelps)... ❌ No woo-woo stuff ❌ No hour-long meditations (who's got time for that?!) ❌ No "if I do this for 6 months I hope I will eventually see results" Yes, 3mins/day is enough to change your child's swimming career forever. ... and make the National Team or represent your country at international competitions and even the Olympics. How? Using the MindGym Visualization and Conscious Breathing techniques. Watch this free 5-video mini-course (starting with the START HERE: The Anxiety Advantage). PS: If you finish the mini-course within 5 days of joining the community I have a reward for you. If not, you’re out. This community is for action-takers ONLY. So.... What is the reward? It's a video training from my $5k mentoring program where I show you how your child can build genuine and lasting confidence on autopilot without any extra effort. Watch this video first. PPS: If you are not sure whether the mini-course is worth your time, read the review from swimmer parents who finished the mini-course in the comments below 👇

Drowning in Nerves Before Big Races? The "Magic Trick" 🎩 to Be Confident
[Register for the Body Language live training here, comment 🚀 if you also want the recording] That sick feeling in your stomach before a big race? The trembling hands? The doubt creeping in? We get it. Competitive swimming is brutal. You train for hours, push your body to the limit, and then... your mind betrays you. But what if there was a "magic trick" to instantly boost your confidence? Something so simple, everyone can do it? Imagine this: - Walking tall onto the deck, head high, a smile on your face. Suddenly, you feel a surge of power. Competitors notice. They feel it too. - Standing strong in the call room, shoulders back, owning your space. The nerves melt away. You're in control. - Behind the blocks, meeting the crowd's gaze with a fire in your eyes. Breathing deep, chest out, ready to unleash. Doubt? Gone. This isn't magic, but if you've never done it... It feels like it. It's about changing your confidence with body language in 3 seconds. That's all it takes. It's the secret weapon you didn't know you had. Without this training? - Nerves could sabotage your performance. - You might give your competitors a psychological edge. - You could miss out on this simple, powerful tool. Join me and: - Learn the "magic trick" of confident body language, even when you're freaking out. - Use your posture, gaze, every move to command focus. - Walk onto that deck feeling like an Olympian. This is even easier than Conscious Breathing. 👉 Register for the Body Language live training here

Psychology’s influence
Hey, I’m Ally, a friend of David Karasek, and I am writing a project on the topic “the influence of psychology on swimmers”. My goal is to collect answers from a questionnaire I’ve set up on order to analyse the importance of psychology and how to use it to promote athletic success. I would be very grateful for anyone who’d be interested in answering the questions. Questions - How important do you consider the mental component of competition and training for your sport? - How would you split the difference bewteen the mental and physical component? - Do you do active mind training, is it included in your program? - What external factors influence your mind? - Have you ever worked with a sports psychologist to improve your mental resilience? If so, how did it change your approach to the sport? - What role does goal setting play in your training and competition preparation? How does your mental approach to goals influence your performance? - Can you describe a time when your motivation was low? How did it affect your training or competition results, and how did you overcome it? - How do you mentally adjust during a competition if things aren’t going as planned? Can you give an example of a time when mental flexibility helped you succeed? - Do you have any other mental strategies you use? - Does the physical or psychological enable you to push for longer or continue to endure the pain? - When you are competing, how do you know when to give 100% and when to conserve energy? - Do you think swimming backstroke vs the other strokes is mentally more challenging because you can’t see where you’re going and you don’t have a line to follow?
