@Camila Bossans you don’t have to go that far as suing, there are workplace policies that HR can look into without suing and a legal case and money out of your pocket.

@Camila Bossans I’m sorry this happened.
Birth Control/Meds or All Naturale?
Hi community! I went off birth control a couple of years ago when my partner and I started to get serious, because I felt comfortable enough with her to try living with PMDD naturally. She’s an incredibly patient and loving person and I am so grateful for her, but we still have our ups and downs because of my mood swings. Two months ago, I started to taper off of my anti-anxiety medication because I found out through a gene swab that I have serious interactions with it and many other depression/anxiety meds. After this taper, I started having mood swings more severe than ever, blaming my partner for every little thing that annoys me, and having really dark, negative self thoughts. Not to mention, my depression got really bad (I still take depression meds). Talking with my therapist, I decided I would start moving my body intentionally to help with my emotional sensitivity and stress relief, but to also keep some weight off (I also have an eating disorder due to the pmdd). This was starting to help a little bit, but my emotional sensitivity and irritability just kept getting worse, so I went to my gyno and asked to be put back on BC. She put me on the same BC, Jolessa or Sitlakin, that I was previously on because it’s a 3 month pack and seemed to help at the time. 2 weeks in, though, and I feel like I’m bloating in my stomach and face, overeating again, having negative thoughts and wanting to isolate. So I guess the point of this post is: Does anyone have a similar experience they’d like to share, or any advice that might be helpful? I would love to handle my PMDD without medication, but when I’m there- it feels like the world is ending and the only thing that will help is medication. Thank you, friends! P.S. It feels so good to have a safe space to post freely about this disorder!

Can I ask how quickly you are tapering the anti anxiety med? I’ve found in the wd community that many taper much too quickly and don’t realize that this is impacting them, and they need to go much slower and to much lower doses before stopping. It’s also been seen that those with the gene test stating the interactions and taking those drugs need to also taper slower because the wd symptoms can be more intense. It can mess with our central nervous system and make symptoms flare.

@Ellie Pemberton I’ve been in the wd community for years, so I am well aware of what can happen. That taper was very quick and can cause flares of symptoms for an extended period of time. There are many support groups for people going through it!
Is meat bad then?
I used to be a vegan on raw foods and I felt the most myself and pre period madness only lasted 4 days as opposed to 3 weeks. I’m the last 3 years I’ve tried eating meat again and weight lifting but I think the chicken and beef could be making it worse? Any one else see this or am I missing something? I’m back to feeling like my life is in a standstill for 2-3 weeks each month!

Follow up question: do you make sure to get organic, non gmo fed chicken and beef? Just wondering if that makes a difference or the hormones in the meat?

@Jes Fleming that’s why I was asking the OP if they chose this option!
APP vs Desktop Checkin
Last night one of you said in the Q+A that you could not see these resources in the classroom via the APP. Will you check your app and your desktop and let me know if you can access these?

I can access the content on the classroom via the app. I just had to scroll down!
Hormone imbalance
I saw that research says about 80% of women suffer from hormone imbalance at least once in their lifetime. Are there tests we can do to see if we have a true hormone imbalance?
