I’m pursuing this course to be able to gain more insight into ways to control and prevent the spread of infectious diseases in our communities. I have actually for past five years as a researcher with the Lagos state university teaching hospital, and my experience so far as lead me to embark on this degree. Most of the challenges I face as a health researcher is not having enough knowledge to approach certain public health issues, so with this degree I will be able so solve more public health problems and maintain a healthier community.

My decision to go to the US stems from my desire to pursue an advanced Degree, I know that the US is a Global leader which is why is my preferred destination. I have also been admitted into 4 schools but Grand valley state University stood out as my Top choice! because their masters in public health offers comprehensive and well structured curriculum.
