Not a Black Friday, but a Christmas special called "Strengthen your Marriage to Survive Holiday Stress." It's a $97 mini-course with 6 short pre-recorded modules designed to help couples maintain intimacy, handle conflict and preserve trust during the busy, stressful holiday season when our focus is everywhere else but on our marriages. I could use some help with a promo.

@Michelle McCartney Here's the link but I've been told I need to speak more to pain points. https://thecommunicationdoc.com/home-copy?preview=1&v=7566834 I did some chatgpt and came up with this list that relate to what I cover in the course which is staying connected, handling conflict, and preserving trust. Not sure if any of these resonate with pain points. "I feel like all we do during the holidays is work—shopping, cooking, hosting. There's no time left for us." "We’re so caught up in the holiday chaos that we don’t even get a moment alone together. I miss just being with you." “We’re so busy, it feels like we barely get any time together. I feel frustrated and alone.” "I feel like your focus is everywhere else—work, family, friends—but not on us. It makes me wonder if we’re a priority for you." "You keep shutting me out when I try to talk about what’s bothering me. How can we fix things if we’re not being open with each other?" "We keep ignoring issues to avoid conflict during the holidays, but it’s starting to feel overwhelming" "Why do we always have to follow your family’s traditions? What about mine?" "You keep spending money on things we don’t need, and it’s stressing me out. We need to be on the same page about this." "I feel like we’re pretending everything is perfect when it’s not. It’s exhausting trying to put on a happy face for everyone else." "We’re telling everyone we’re fine, but I feel like we’re not being honest about our struggles. It feels like we’re lying to ourselves and them." "I’m worried that in trying to make everyone happy, we’re not being honest about what we can afford or what we actually want." "I don’t feel like we’re on the same page about spending this year. I’m worried you’re not being upfront about how much we’re actually spending." "When you don’t back me up in front of your family, it feels like I can’t rely on you, and that shakes my trust."

Hi, I'm Melissa. My nickname is Missy except for my crazy red-headed friend who has called me Chicken since high school--no actual reason for this. I live in Tampa, Florida. My biggest strength and weakness are my determination--keeps me going but also keeps me from asking for help. I am transitioning from 30 years teaching college to starting my business The Communication Doc with a mission to help committed married couples improve communication, reduce conflict, and develop fulfilling, connected marriages. I learned about the group through Michelle after being a guest on her podcast. I learned a lot in the short time we talked and wanted to keep connecting with her and you all!

With a healthy marriage, 6 kids, 6 grands, grand-cat Loki, and grand-turtle Bob, life is busy, challenging, but we work to communicate through it all!
