Many people have joined looking to connect with fellow skaters, but they might not know where to start or may feel uncomfortable asking questions publicly in the group. While organizing meetups can be a hassle, the member map makes it much easier for us to share our locations and plan events together. I’m pretty sure everyone at work knows I roller skate, I worked with many of the people at a previous job, and I used to skate pretty openly in the office. I also post to IG and YouTube, mainly because my IG is connected to Facebook and my boss is my friend there, and when I’m in an every day challenge it’s best not to show how much I’m skating, maybe I’m over thinking things 😂. Today I saw a fun activity to try with AI. Prompting ChatGPT the following: “Based on what you know about me, draw a picture of what you think my current life looks like.” The attached is what came out. While I don’t have any white skates, everything else is pretty accurate, ok, and I don’t have a body that looks good with large belts, but I do wear a lot of black. The AI even has a pretty good representation of my son. The husband is off, but the bikes are accurate 😂. Anyone else want to try?

Hey y’all 🤗 My apartment has this PERFECT room for skating practice (it’s actually a yoga room lol) and they OK’d me to practice there, but their only concern is possible floor damage... Does anyone have any suggestions for rollerskating floor tiles or any other form of protectant? I don’t want to risk getting fined for possibly scratching their laminate floors. Thanks in advance 🥰
