Congrats on launching your Painting/Decorating Skool group! 🎨✨ This topic is incredibly unique. I love the angle of saving money while creating art and beauty in your own home. How did you come up with this idea? It’s genius!

🌏Living or Traveling in Thailand: What’s Your Experience?
Hey everyone! I'm Thai, and I'm really curious to know about your experiences or thoughts when it comes to living or traveling in Thailand, whether it’s for a short or long-term stay. Here’s what I’m working on: I’m offering a service to help Digital Nomads, Skool Creators, and tourists navigate life in Thailand more easily. From local knowledge and recommendations to emergency services, I’m providing two levels of service: Done It Yourself (DIY) - For those who prefer to manage things themselves but need some guidance and local insights, like recommendations for the best places to stay long-term, secret locations, local language tips, community support, and 13 other things we offer! Done For You (DFY) - For those who want everything arranged, including transportation, hotel bookings, 24/7 consultancy services, a personalized 2-hour Zoom call before you come to Thailand, taxi services from the airport to your destination, activities and much more! (Including secret service😙) 💬 So, I’d love to hear from you: 1️⃣ What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced when living or traveling in Thailand, and how did you solve it? (Maybe you’ve had issues with taxis, finding local spots, or not knowing who to ask when something goes wrong? I’d love to hear your stories!) 2️⃣ For those planning a long-term stay in Thailand, would you prefer a more hands-on service where everything is arranged for you, or would you rather take care of things yourself with some guidance? Why? (This will help me understand which service might work best for you.) 3️⃣ How do you currently get information and support when you're in a new country? (Would a community helping with local knowledge, emergency services, or how to get around make your experience in Thailand smoother?) 👉 Thanks so much for reading this long post! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts and feedback. Let me know which services you’d be interested in and how I can make your transition to Thailand as easy as possible. Your input is valuable in shaping what I offer!

Community Not Growing
So I have been trying different strategies but can't seem to get people to join. Over the past 7 days alone I have had 250+ about page views and only 1 signup. Maybe the about page needs to be revamped? Just not sure how. I just enabled free trials yesterday so I will see how that does. Anyone have advice?

I’ve read your comment, and I understand you don’t want a free group and prefer to get people straight into the paid group. That’s totally fine! Since free trials didn’t work for you, here’s an idea you might want to try: Level-Based Access to Your Course This means members will unlock your content step by step, so they need to engage with your group first before getting full access. Example of Levels: 1. Level 1: Access to the "Start Here" content or basics. 2. Level 2: Access to the first course or module. 3. Level 3: Full access to all courses and extra materials. This way, people can’t just get everything right away they need to interact with the group to move through the levels. Why This Works: 1. Stronger Connection Members will engage more because they need to be active in the group to level up, building a better relationship with you. 2. More Commitment If someone wants to get to the full course, they’ll either work through the levels or stick around longer to earn access. 3. Better Event Participation When you host weekly Zoom calls, they will be more likely to join and connect with you. This can also encourage them to stick around and eventually pay for more. This strategy creates a good balance between keeping things exclusive and encouraging members to stay engaged!
Conversion Advice
Hi All, I finally got my free course and community finalised 🥳 I have a website that has been running for a while now but I never did much with it. I have written an article pointing people towards my course here on Skool and have been running google ads. It has greatly increased the traffic to my website and I am getting eyes on the aforementioned article. In the last 7 days I have had 21 people click on the link to my Skool community and drumroll please 🥁... ZERO conversions. I appreciate these are not grand numbers but it is highlighting that I am not doing a good enough job of convincing people to sign up to a platform they have maybe not heard of. Is there a particular video knocking about I can watch to help with this / any advice anyone can share? I get overwhelmed with all the Q&A's that come out frequently and kind of had to tune out the noise whilst I worked on just getting my course up and running. So it's likely I have missed some valuable nuggets of information.

I just checked out your Sober community! From my perspective, it's great that your community is public. However, I came across an interesting strategy from a comment that might work well for you! The idea is to unlock classrooms at level 1 or 2 so people can access your course. This way, your community will be more engaging because those who want access to your course will need to interact with the group first. Here are a few areas you might want to improve: 1. Your Website Maybe you can share the link here so others can check it out and provide feedback! 2. Your Offer Make sure it's clear and irresistible to your audience. 3. Your Content to Drive Traffic I’m not sure where your traffic comes from right now, but feel free to share more details so I can dive deeper into suggestions! This approach could enhance engagement and help your community grow even faster!

It's not from Skool but One of Sam Ovens most impactful quotes for me is: "Focus on mastering one thing instead of trying to do everything. Mastery comes from depth, not breadth." This piece of advice resonates deeply because it emphasizes the power of narrowing your focus and achieving expertise in one area. It’s a perspective shift that applies not just to business but also to personal growth. Mastery builds momentum, and momentum drives success. I’d love to know what yours is! 😊
