Let’s get to know each other! Comment below with where you're living, a fun fact about your relationship, and a word or phrase you’ve picked up from your partner’s culture. 😊 I’m Tina, and my husband Nacho and I are currently living in Buenos Aires. We met on Tinder back in 2016 while in Miami, and just a few months later, we got married and started our life together. One fun thing about us is that we mix in words from the places we’ve lived—like saying “potati” (Sweden) instead of potato and “schubschub” (Slovakia) when we’re in a rush. We’ve moved around a lot—from living with roommates in Miami, to a small studio, then spending 1.5 years in my childhood room in Germany, and even living in a van on just 5 square meters! Now, we’re finally somewhat settling in Buenos Aires, it’s never boring!

Hey everyone. I'm Rebecca ( Ruby ) from Germany and my partner is from kenya, but is currently living in Qatar. We've met on Instagram in September 2020 and I visited him the first time in Qatar in december 2021, ... not knowing that our friendship that we've build will become a long-distance relationship. Since then we're in love and a couple and facing the hard parts of a long-distance relationship. I catched up many swahili words, but the most common is "Naje buda, uko freshi?!", that means "Hey brother, is everything alright?!".
We all have one thing in common 😪
This channel is a place to share your experiences with paperwork and support each other through it. If you have a specific question, feel free to ask it here 📎. I’m curious: What have been your biggest challenges so far regarding paperwork? I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to navigate bureaucracy, ignorance, and even feelings of discrimination. I encourage you to share your story here—don’t hesitate to create a post in this category, even if you just need to vent (I’ve been there too!).

At the moment I haven't had any challenges with paperwork, ... but I guess soon, because my partner wants to visit me in Germany and I heard rumors that's very difficult for him, because he's a kenyan. But maybe ( hopefully ) he'll be right, that it will be easy, because he has always luck in such kind of stuff.
