Arguing for invisible limitations
We argue to stay where we are because we’re scared we’ll lose it—what little we have left, what we already have. We play narratives in our minds that we’ll be rejected, lose everything, that we won’t be enough. Who says you can’t live in a $25k/month NYC apartment with an infinity pool? Where is it written.. that you can’t make it with the gifts and talents you already have? Who told you that this is all that’s left? Your limit? Your finish line? Why do we play into these small-minded narratives? Because it’s easier. It’s easier to believe you’re not enough, or that your trauma and circumstances have ruined your life. It’s easy to write off your dreams as impossible or someone else’s fault. Eagles living with chickens. We surround ourselves with small-minded people. We feed on a hollow diet—physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally. We disengage from the flow of life and blame others. “She’s so mean. She has it out for me. I came in 3 minutes late, and I texted a manager. Then she told me to see her after work. She’s the only one here with a stick up her a**…” Everybody does their own form of this. Traffic. Bills. Food. Online content. Politics. The election, dear Lord. It’s so easy to blame everybody, blame God, blame the government, blame TikTok, blame the phones, blame your parents, your boss, the algorithm… So easy. We’re quick to spin stories about why we’ve been wronged and how poorly things will go because of x person, event, or entity. It helps us make sense of reality and excuse our problems instead of owning them, along with the potential beneath them. If there weren’t someone to blame, you’d have to own your infinite potential and do something about it. It’s easy to blame God. It’s harder to fix things.

6 Dials, Locked in: Refocus on the Basics.
I’ve been struggling to stay consistent recently—energy, clarity, and drive, all out of whack with shifting light zones and the extra noise of politics and the existential crisis of 2024 goals looming. If this is you, these six things might help you lock back in. 01/ Your morning routine. Consistent flow. 💧 HYDRATE (20 oz immediately) 🧘‍♂️ STRETCH / MOBILITY (5-10 minutes) 🏃 LIGHT RUN / CARDIO / WALK (10-20 minutes) - Sunlight exposure is crucial, especially with the onset of winter ❄️ COLD SHOWER (1-3 minutes) - Boosts dopamine and focus catecholamines by 250% for up to 6 hours 🧠 PERFORMANCE CUES IN SHOWER: - "What can I be excited for today?" - "Who needs me on my A-game today?" - "Where did I fall from grace yesterday, and how will I realign now?" 🍫 LMNT (hot chocolate flavor is fire rn) (calm + hydration) 📖 READ (20 minutes) 📅 REVIEW priorities & schedule for the day (5 minutes) 🔍 FOCUS PROMPTS 💭 VISUALIZE GREATNESS 💧 MORE WATER (20 oz) ⚙️ DEEP WORK RITUAL (90 minutes) This has been working for me, find what works for you. 02/ Your energetic consistency - Every hour, release tension and reset attention—attentional reset, intentional cue - Deep reset: 30 minutes mid-day or mid-morning - Long walks with no phone, scheduled in You control the levels of energy in your system. You generate the energy of your future. 03/ Your schedule (and WHEN are the priorities?) - What matters most now? - What’s coming up in the next week? - What’s in the future 60 days and how can we prepare for that now? - Priority reviews—what matters most today? - Progress checks mid week. - Planning & scheduling sessions weekly. - Deep strategy sessions monthly. The monthly strategy flows from the yearly values overview, the weekly blueprint follows from the monthly strategy, the day follows the blueprint. It won't be perfect, but if you don't take control of your direction, you become another aimless drone, pulled this way and that, in an infinite sea of noise.

So good.
Do Hard Things
The HARDER road builds PERMANENT CHARACTER. It rewires your brain, making you play every room differently. The best environment forces you to erase the old you and reinvent yourself. It's demanding, terrifying, but exactly where you belong. On this path, you become a winner, a doer, an operator. Not just someone waiting for the perfect opportunity, which doesn't exist. The magic you're seeking is in the work you're avoiding. Focus or die. The opposite is drifting, delaying, distracting. All roads will bring up the same problems within you until you change. Embrace chaos, struggle, and challenge, even when it feels mundane or stressful. You're on track. Choosing the fire burns up the old ways and builds new potential. "The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the LORD tests the heart." — Proverbs 17:3. It should scare you. You should feel uncertain. That's what taking the next big wave feels like. You'll never feel ready or have all the information. You might feel 51% confident, but you can't rely on feelings. You'll never be "ready" enough. God will ready you as you go. When Joshua charged, when Joseph was in prison, when Moses was called, none felt prepared. When will you feel "good enough" to act? Who's going to give you permission? Abraham left everything and went without knowing where he was going (Hebrews 11:9). It's faith. Seeing the invisible behind the visible. I'm more convicted about God's vision for my life than my own abilities. So I'm fine with going without knowing where I'm going.

Me
First I would like to thank you for accepting me into the RGX community. Hello, My name is Mohamed, I’m about to become 14, I’m Muslim (I believe in god). I’m currently going through high school while also planning my next steps in life. My goals are to lose weight, get more experienced in calisthenics, I also want to start running more, and find a way of making money. I joined the RGX Community to stay motivated in what I do, and learn from the more experienced. I wish that you all get to achieve your goals, and accomplish anything that you want.

Welcome 🤙
Things don’t always go the way you plan.
Things do not always occur the way they did when you planned it in your mind. This is a fact of life. And if you cannot accept this, you will rush around in resistance to the inevitable. You will end up reacting into every little thing that is wrong with your life. This is a miserable existence, (I would only know because ^that^ was me today). Instead, we can accept these mistakes, frustrations, and failures, remembering we are human. We can choose to recalibrate into the present moment, feel the fresh gift of oxygen in our lungs, be still in the presence of God’s goodness, revisit our reverence for life. Knowing that one day, we will die and pass on from this earth—like everyone before us—we can dive deep from this high point of clarity into the depths of this very second, the ocean ever unfolding, the now. It here we engage with pure focus and clear intention, an undivided attention set apart for the only thing that exists, which is here and now—the unfolding. We must learn to wrap our attention around the vital things in life, even when life goes off course and it feels pointless. If we do not raise our eyes and lift our heads, how can we confidently walk the path before us? We cannot, in the distraction and drama of this broken world, make sense of life. We cannot find meaning in the shallow concerns of the masses, whose minds have been quietly programmed into modern slavery through the addictive, twisted, toxic substances, content, and lifestyles promoted by a broken system. We cannot find true healing in the poisonous medicine we’ve been fed–spiritually, physically, and mentally. There is nothing but reaction and noise in the black hole. The black hole is the infinite trail of lies that lead to reactivity, hate, bitterness, self-pity, self-distraction, avoidance, blame, division, discouragement, and the deep pit of defeat. In the noise, we become slaves to the world. This is where the enemy wants you. Quietly submitting your entire life over to those quiet thoughts and behaviors that eat away at your true identity and conform you to the world.
