Be kind out there dammit 😊
Ask anyone how they’re doing. And their usual response is “good”. I just want everyone to know that it’s OK to not be OK. And sometimes when people ask how you’re doing. Let them know that you feel like shit. Let them know that you’re struggling. Share with them what you’re going through. You might be surprised to find that people really do want to help.

I hear many people answer with this… “FINE”. It’s almost like the are mad I even asked how they are doing. This use to bother me. Now I can see they most likely are not in a good place. I am working to be more supportive of others in my tribe.
The MOST important thing in your life
S___TEA These are the most important letters you can be familiar with. Stimulus___Thought Emotion Action That gap is where your free will lives. Unfortunately, most people don’t have it. So that means they are at the mercy of all stimulus. They react to everything. They don’t know how to create that space, that pause. This is the process in which neural pathways form. Everything you feel, experience, everything you do or don’t do in your life is 100% directly related to your understanding or lack of understanding of this process. Do you know how to create the space 🤔

BAMO is the way for me to create some space. When I need to I add in STOP and then GOOD to increase that GAP in my mind.
ECR's & IER's
I'm curious to know, or if anyone else wants to share - what their ECR's are? What really gets your mind (and body) movin' and ready for the day/afternoon/evening? 🤔 Mine are affirmations in the car, listening to music sometimes really loud in the AM and PM to/from work, and of course BAMO!!!

My ECR's are morning walk, yoga, breath work, meditation and journaling to get my day started off on right foot. I adjust this a little when traveling for work. My IER's are BAMO, 5 minute body scan meditation and breath work. I use after lunch to clear and recenter my mind when the thoughts get to bouncing around too much for me.
You deserve to be happy dammit 😊
One of my favorite podcast interviews with coach RC. All kinds of good little nuggets in here to help you maximize your mental health & happiness.

This was great conversation indeed!
This Academy is your Mental Gym
If you want to train your body...you know where to go. The gym. But where do you go to train your brain? When your brain is "out of shape" what do you do? Everyone makes a new years resolution to "get in shape" and they join the gym. How about you make 2025 the year you get your BRAIN in shape. Your brain is probably in worse condition than your body right now (exhausted, anxious, depressed, negative thoughts and self talk, lack of focus)There is only 1 way to FIX this...and it requires TRAINING. Self help books, podcasts and motivational speakers won't rewire your brain. They are good for awareness...but you need application. You have to put in the work, but you need to know how to do it. What are the exercises, techniques and routines.Well...good new. My Steady Mind is the Mental Gym. We provide everything you need...the exercises, the coaching, the community. You either do it or you don't. Everybody wants a strong mind and body. But who is actually going to put in the work? Make the new year the year you commit to strengthening your mind.Train your beautiful brain dammit :)
