Weekend Sketch Walks in December
Just testing the water for a potential coffee and sketch with me in December. I was thinking of Nero's Wellington Place, sketch at the Wagon Hoist Museum. Just a social/sketch & coffee either on a Saturday or Sunday.

Huddersfield Urban Artist Competition
Thanks to everyone who voted for my entry - pictured - in the first ever Huddersfield urban artist competition. The sketch was done back in the summer but the glittering awards event was just last night at the Lawrence Batley Theatre. Sadly I didn’t win this one but was really chuffed to be one of the seven super talented artists shortlisted. And pleased to see my piece successfully auctioned off to raise cash for local charities. The bottle of bubbly and voucher to spend at a local art shop helped too! Looking like the Huddersfield BID might well run the competition again next year so keep your eyes peeled for news…

Tiled Hall event
Great to see so many turn up for our monthly coffee bar get together in the splendid surroundings of the Tiled Hall on Friday. Here are my slightly dodgy captures of fellow Sketch Club members Peter and Dan from the event…
