Being new to traditional archery I decided I wanted to try both recurves and longbows. I can shoot them both equally well. I have both in the โfleetโ and will continue to use them almost in a rotation. Or to just change things up.
@Grant Richardson well if I had to say yes it would be the Black Widow MAIII. I can pick it up any time, even not having shot it in months and have arrows touching at 20yds. It seems like an extension of me when I pick it up. Everything seems โrightโ if that makes sense.
I was late to the archery game. I started with compounds in 2004ish and now traditional since 2018. I had an old Samick Hunter recurve and one day in 2018 I decided I wanted to become proficient enough to shoot then hunt with traditional archery. That bow cut my teeth on the journey Iโm now in. I shoot recreationally, competitively and bow hunt with my recurves and longbows. I have not picked up a compound since. Iโve been successful in harvesting black bear and whitetail deer. My first buck was taken just a few short days ago with my recurve. Iโm glad I made the transition to traditional archery.
