Hi everyone, Curious to know, are you using any daily techniques to work on your subconscious? Anyone listening to the self hypnosis audio every day or doing self congratulations etc? And if so, have you noticed any extra improvements?
I have used negative self talk for decades before I found the Manosphere and more directly Ryan. It sneaks back in every now and then but now being aware of it I hit it with a thought or out loud by saying “STOP” I use all of my passwords as positive messages. As an example I was in a pretty shitful marriage and I used “Freedom542023” the numbers being my age and the year I wanted freedom by. I typed this out at least 20 times a day for at least a year. I beat the dead line too. FTB I also apply positive messages to automatic activities such as showering. When shampooing Id say “I wash away all (Fear,worry doubt anger ) what ever message you want to use Every time I took a piss Id say I remove (what ever) or X is leaving me. ( and award my self 10 points for not missing) In the car Id say Im Driving myself to get/achieve X The potential for adding positive messages to activities is huge. I dont recall the book I got this from, but if I do ill add it here. I also apply gameification to activities too. I started giving my young kids points for doing stuff too which was interesting to see their responses. I have found these to be helpful but clearing the underlying issues is where the power really lies
