Question for you Podvasters/streamers. what Mic and XLR or USB?

Hi All, I am looking to get a mic to narrate videos. I'm a bit put off by my headset and mic.

What mics are you guys using? Would you go USB or straight to XLR? If XLR, what else do I need between the mic and the PC?

What are you using and why? How did you end up with your setup and what were the hicups on the way?
