Market Phase Filters
Everybody would love to have got a great Filter that says if a market is trending, ranging, week or strong or whatever. Always by the general idea that this assumption might help to select the correct trading approach for that phase.
Unfortunately Filters are lagging. So when a Trend Filter says it's a Trending Market, often the direction might switch in a short period of time. If a Filter has no lag at all, it's a repainter.
It would be great to hear your favourite Filters for specific Market situations, please also on which TF you are using it.
