Creators Put on Pedestals.. 🫠

Wanted to share this. I probably could have responded even better but I barely gave it thought honestly, it made me laugh.

I’ve seen so many creators start posting very vulnerable posts about their stories or showing that they are not perfect. It’s really weeding out followers. It’s astonishing to continue to reaffirm that followers have a hard time seeing us as just another person who is navigating life too. We AREN’T perfect and sometimes we just have to find our balance given our circumstances. The most important thing is that we are happy with ourselves and confident in what we are doing ✨

When I lose a follower like this. I’m actually happy. Not the most desirable energy to have around but definitely sending healing and love their way! This encounter shows me this person has some wounds to heal and is projecting perfectionism onto someone like me.

When we can think deeply about why someone may be triggered, we better understand them and we are able to keep our peace in conversation.
