Solid thread on reddit on using AI in work
I’ll be honest. I use AI to help me write a lot of things, especially advertising things where it feels like the goal is just to get the best cost per acquisition. And its not crucial for my perfect soul to be on display 100% of the time.
But as soon as we are talking website and social I definitely slow down and try to only use AI (ChatGPT) to improve my own writing.
For me, I really like *talking* into GPT for like 5 minutes off the brain, just all the ideas I have for something and I want to make. Total stream of consciousness. Then I’ll ask it to give me a draft outline or document or whatever. And further brainstorm other directions I could go.
I can often get a pretty nice starting point that will really need to be edited down to a solid piece of writing. But sometimes AI is super inefficient. Like this post, no AI.
Curious where ya’ll feel in this one. When do you use it and when do you not?
