I'm currently around 95-96kg, with a good muscular base in the limbs (Arms and Legs), however am lacking in terms of the muscles which Calisthenics most easily provides for (Chest, Lats, etc.) I also have a significant amount of body fat (not to the point where I can't tell I have muscle, but too much for me to even do a pull up properly). Should I focus on a caloric deficit to start out before going into Calisthenics? And if so, should I try basic progression exercises for the essential Calisthenic workouts like Push-ups and Pull-ups(that I can do even while being at a heavier weight, just to get familiar with the motions)?
Any information is helpful to me π
