Free Trials
Here's how I'd make a decision whether or not to continue to run them if it was me!
I've spoken to multiple community owners running free trials and I've had mixed reviews.
seen lower quality people signing up and decided to turn them off.
The result: better quality conversions and more of them.
However,
is currently seeing a 50% conversion rate with his free trials.
It all comes down to testing and seeing what works with your community!
The simplest form of the video is below:
No Trial Conversion = About Page Conversion
Trail Conversion = About Page Conversion * Trial Conversion
If one is greater than the other, go with that option.
The only other main factor to consider is clicks. If you are seeing double the amount of traffic with trials but the same conversion or less, this may still be more members than previously!
