Here's How I'm Building My Community as a Growth Operator... 🚀
Hey guys! 👋 I wanted to share how I'm building my new community after 1 year of launching and running communities for other people! It's quite simple... (Watch the video for a more in-depth explanation👇) As you do or don't know... The market wants what they want and NOT what you want The only way for you to find out exactly what people want is not by asking what they want (In my opinion, what people say and what people do are 2 completely different things). Instead, I prefer creating an MVP and pushing as much traffic to it to test it out and start developing the idea from there! Here's how that translates into the Skool Community world: 1. Create a Free community: Don't go overboard though!!! Again, you want an MVP here. You only need the most basic features that will make this community valuable and run fine. 2. Give an INSANE amount of value (An amount people would be used to paying for): You want your members to be involved and give you feedback. You need to stop thinking about money and be focused on providing insane amounts of value. This way, not only will you get super happy & engaged members, you'll also likely start getting more people join through word of mouth and your members will more likely be happy to give you honest feedback! 3. Convert to Paid after you reach X members or after Y time: You'll want to create a sense of community and belonging. In my opinion, a great way of doing that is by rewarding those that take a leap of faith and join your community when it's just getting started. So to implement this, I'm making my community Paid after the 1st month of it being open. That way, those who joined and helped me out will be rewarded with lifetime access for free and will be called the Founding Members! 4. Create a new community and make that your Free one: Now that you have a better idea of what the market wants, you'll be able to make a content split between the free community and the paid one to start upselling new members!
