“Overnight successes” are not overnight
In the early stages, a bamboo seed is planted in the ground.
For the first several years, there’s little visible growth.
The gardener waters and nurtures the seed, but nothing seems to happen above the surface.
Many might lose faith and give up, but the gardener continues to care for the seed.
Then, after about five years of hard work, the bamboo suddenly breaks through the soil.
In just a few weeks, it can grow be among the tallest trees in a forest and pass the smaller trees.
The years of nurturing have allowed it to develop a strong root system underground, which supports its rapid growth.
People have no clue the hours of work, sleepless nights wondering what the next move will be For someone to have an “overnight success”
Props to you for joining this university in which you are now developing those roots.
Good Job
Hope to see you at the top.
