Getting started on this project has been difficult because the application has a large scope. The main challenge has been determining which task to focus on and how to handle state management, but after many hours of thought and struggle, I finally have a defined goal in the form of a small subproblem that is manageable. I'm going to focus all my efforts on the landing page, specifically on rendering the Bitcoin price chart which will require me to play around with React charts and understand the CoinGecko API docs.
