Our brains aren’t physically built to store so much information.
Yet every book we read, experience we have, insight we discover adds to the pressure of holding valuable information. Ultimately, it runs out and we forget.
Luckily, you can create another brain. For yourself.
Think of your primary brain as a sponge. It can hold some water (information) but after a while it gets too heavy. And the water eventually has to be squeezed out.
When you create a second brain, you chuck the sponge. You add a big bucket to your life. A bucket that can hold much more information and for as long as it takes.
Disclaimer: The equivalent idea of a second brain has been the secret for many of a prolific writer. Not just in that field but in any field could creating a second brain 2X your life. So only carry on if a bucket would be worth having for you instead of the default sponge.
There's countless people who share content about building your second brain online. But if I'd suggest only the two best ones they would be Tiago Forte and Ali Abdaal. Watch their YouTube videos, learn from their frameworks and most importantly implement their ideas.
Or, if you already have a second brain, this challenge demands that you make it more efficient: more simple, more organized; whatever helps to remove water from your bucket more easily.
