Web site down... weird?

There was an email from Troy a few days ago with a kind of long-ish rant about bad behavior and attitudes from some affiliates along with sort of vague announcements of some upcoming changes. Taking an enterprise site offline is certainly not among any "best practices" that would be considered common in web modern web site development... or at least not since the mid 90's when almost everyone in America thought AOL was the Internet.

is anyone else here still feeling at all positively about LCP at this point?
