WCC Day 3
I woke up this morning to the news that we are all tied up heading into the rest day! Gukesh, the young Indian phenom, won on time in a position in which he was up an exchange of a bishop for 2 pawns in which the computer evaluations was +1.9 in his favor!! Do you like having a bunch of pawns vs a piece? How good are your end games when you have the bishop pair? Link to Game 3 on Lichess: https://tinyurl.com/WCC3G

WCC Day 2
Have you been entertained by the first two matches of the WCC? Where you expecting an Italian Game today? We get our first draw of the match in which I am sure we will see many more. The first day spoiled us with a decisive match to kick things off! We've seen openings named after countries...maybe we will get a Spanish or Berlin game in the future!

Scorpion-Horus Gambit Guide (Coming Soon!)
Today I will be filming a 3 part series about my favorite response to the Caro-Kann, the Scorpion-Horus Gambit. This guide will include an Introduction, Gambit Accepted, and Gambit Declined section. All 3 videos will be up on Youtube. But even better is that this will all be packaged and available for free over in the Classroom tab. You will have access to the Lichess Study that I am using while creating these videos and will have some written explanations to go along with the videos. My goal is to have this guide up and firing for you all to use by Sunday night or early Monday morning to kick off the week and for you to use in your own games!

Chess.com Pairing Tip
When playing on Chess.com you should use the custom feature to set your opponents rating range that you can face. I suggest -100 on the lower end and then +200 or greater on the higher end. This should funnel stronger opponents your way and help you play tougher games! (Within a reasonable range)
