If you are a man struggling with any addiction, let me speak to you.
There is no such thing as "not being able to quit."
You believe this, because you haven't changed your self-image. You still see yourself as a recovering addict, instead of a person who no longer indulges in your addiction.
I'll give you an example: There are two people who decide to quit smoking cigarettes.
One of the people, we'll call jack, says to himself "I am going to try to quit smoking."
Time and time again, he is offered a cigarettes and he says "No, thanks i'm trying to quit smoking."
He fails.
The other person, Jason, says to himself "I will no longer smoke, I am not a smoker anymore."
When he is offered a cigarette, he says "No thanks, I don't smoke."
He overcomes his addiction.
Be Jason, Not Jack.
