Good morning my sisters!
Forgive me for the delay, the days are passing so quickly. I am fully embracing this season with the kids and we have been traveling all over Texas, connecting with other believers and ministries, it has been so encouraging and empowering!! God is on the move!! He is showing up and I am blown away.
We are about to open the doors of our new facility in San Antonio, right by the airport, and have so many ideas flowing of how the Lord will use this space for the Kingdom. Praying, praising, and trusting in His faithfulness as the Holy Spirit leads!
The word I have is to keep praying. May praise and thanksgiving continuously be on our lips. Keep standing on the Word of God. Speak His word aloud until you believe it in the core of who you are. Continue to prioritize time with him above all else. May we commit right here and now that we will keep our eyes on Him this holiday season. We will not get distracted by all of the stuff and the fluff. We will look for Him in all places and spaces, expecting for Him to show up and show off, because He is God and He has a plan! Yes, He has a plan for how He wants to use YOU in this next season. Yes, YOU. Let us give Him permission to move freely in our lives because His plans are so much better!
“Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9
As you spend time in His word, may the words jump off the page so you know God is speaking to YOU. May our hearts be postured in such a way that God is able to transform us through the power of his Living Word. He is calling His children to walk in obedience and in love.
Prayer:
Almighty God, you are the creator of all things. You spoke everything into existence and you made us in your image. You gave us free will, knowing we would struggle, so you made a plan from the start to bring us back to you. Thank you Jesus, our Messiah, our savior and king. Thank you that through Christ, we have nothing to fear. That you haven't given us a spirit of fear, but one power, love and sound mind.
The same resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us as we say, Yes and Amen! Thank you for the reminder that apart from you, we can do nothing. Thank you for the reminder that when we are weak, you are strong. That your power is made perfect and weakness.
Today, I lay down every burden, fear, and insecurity, I place them at the foot of the cross, and I pick up your Word, expectant that you want to speak to me today. You have called me before I was born and chosen me. You are drawing me into you and I say yes, Father. Speak, your servant is listening... (opening the Bible...)
